Getting the right balance of green in photos has always been a challenge for me. Whenever I tried to edit RAW files in post, I always messed up the colors when trying to get the right green. So, one must trust Fuji green, and one must shoot JPEGs when holding a Fuji camera.😎

Superia Premium 400 seems to work well with green. Here's a recipe that I originally got from Fuji X Weekly with some minor differences since my camera is XT4.

Superia Premium 400 Recipe

  • FILM SIMULATION: CLASSIC Neg.
  • GRAIN EFFECT: STRONG, SMALL
  • COLOR CHROME EFFECT: STRONG
  • COLOR CHROME FX BLUE: WEAK
  • WHITE BALANCE: 4700K (R: 4 B: -3)
  • DYNAMIC RANGE: DR200
  • TONE CURVE: H-2, S 0
  • COLOR: +4
  • SHARPNESS: -1
  • HIGH ISO NR: -4
  • CLARITY: -2

When in actual shooting, I don't necessarily keep the same settings for white balance, but 4700K is a good baseline to start. Here are other photos I took using the recipe.
